The American Go Journal

view other covers from the AGA archives

When the first issue of the AGJ appeared in 1949, it became the first English-language magazine devoted exclusively to the game of Go. For many members of the small, devoted American Go-playing community, the AGJ's quarterly appearance in their maliboxes was the only evidence that "someone else out there loves Go!"

By the year 2000, The American Go Newsletter, a weekly e-mail, had more subscribers than the print Journal, which was finally replaced in 2003 by The American Go Yearbook. Click below to search in the way that interests you most.
