Xuefen Lin, 1-Dan

Ms. Xuefen Lin was born on March 26, 1973 in Guangdong Province, China. She learned go at age 11 and obtained one-dan professional rank in China in 1992. She played and excelled in numerous regional and national tournaments in China from 1992 thru 2001. She was also involved extensively in Go education in China from 1996 to 2000. Ms Lin moved to Houston in April, 2001 to join her husband. Ms Lin was invited to York, PA to teach in the 2001 US Go Congress. She placed second (after losing to Jie Li) in the 2001 Texas Open Tournament which was held in Houston last October.
