Yi-Lun Yang, 7-Dan

Yi-lun Yang was born in Shanghai, China. First started playing go at age 10. He won the National Championship of China for the age group 20-25, was on the Chinese National Team from 1973-78. From 1978 -1986, he was the coach and a team member on the Shanghai City Team which won the National Championship for city teams 5 times during his tenure. In 1982 he won the 16 States Championship, an individual title and he won again in 1985. Mr Yang came to the US in 1986 and has been here since that date.
