Tuesday August 19, 2014

Published in the August 19, 2014 edition of the American Go E-Journal.

For private lessons, Kaz has the following special 3-for-1 offer to new students until August 31st, 2014:  for the first lesson, send him 10 of your recent games to receive a detailed commentary on 3 of those games.  Normally, the $40 lesson fee includes 1 game commentary.  And only Kaz’s lessons offer his students 25 custom-designed problems.  For details, please email Kaz at

In this game between single digit kyu players, Kaz details with concrete examples why making center territory is hard.  Even many dan players incorrectly try to make center territory when bigger side and corner moves are available.  Of course, Kaz also covers many other aspects of this game.
