ABOUT VOLUNTEERING:
The AGA, from the President on down, is an entirely volunteer organization. We depend on your help to make the AGA what it is today and what it will be tomorrow.Time, volunteering does take time. However, we recognize our volunteers have personal and professional commitments as well. We have all kinds of projects and positions, from just a few hours a month to ten hours a week. There are ways you can help the AGA no matter how much time you have. We understand life changes, and you may need to step out for several months or even a few years before you return. Just keep us up to date.
To get started in helping with the AGA we have several approaches. You can tell us about your educational or professional background and we can find related projects or positions. You can choose from our Open Projects list. If you have related experience and are ready to make a serious commitment, there are a number of National Level positions available. Finally, pitch your brilliant idea on how to make the AGA better, and then make that your volunteer project! Most importantly, we want you to enjoy your work, so be sure you express your interests to us.
