Solution follows

Correct.
(You might try downloading the SGF, which has more variations
than those here, and also allows playing through the variations
more easily.)
Black 1 is the proper way to start. White must
respond to Black 1 or die immediately. Black 3 and 5
only seem to hand White more stones to capture. Did
Black just learn how to play go, or what?!
Continuation.
White 6 makes a huge capture, but Black 7 reveals a fatal
weakness in White's position. Maybe Black isn't a beginner
after all.
White's toughest defense may be at 8. But Black 9 creates
a dead eye shape for White. White can try to wriggle for
another eye, but through Black 15, White is dead.
White variation.
If White tries for a seki with 10, Black can create a dead eye
shape through 13.
Failure.
Black 1 and 3 (at 6) is the incorrect move order. When White
plays 8, Black has no time to play the killing move at 10.
