Black 1 is a simple, but very easy to overlook, tesuji.
After White 2, Black calmly defends with 3. Black can
now capture White's 3 stones, which are now short of
liberties, thanks to Black 1.
Disaster.
After Black 1, White lays waste to the bottom with 2.
Slack.
Black 1 saves some of Black's stones, but after 2,
White wins the semeai against the 2 Black stones above.
