A White play at 2 is usual. White keeps Black separated and the
play is big with respect to the corner territory.
Black 3 is a possible light continuation.
But White should not push through with 4, because
through 9, Black has splendid shape.
Correct White follow up.
Instead of the previous diagram, White might follow up with 4 here.
Black is OK, but has a new set of problems to solve.
