Solution follows    (or click here to download SGF)

Correct.
The game line. Pressing at 1 first is correct. White must respond at 2. Now Black makes the nice extension at 3. After 5, Black's left side moyo is looking just right.

Not good.
The conventional invasion at 1 is not good. White 2 blocks correctly on this side. After 6, White builds up an ideal formation at the top.

Even worse.
Black 1 here is even worse than the immediate 3-3 invasion. Now when Black invades the corner with 3, White blocks again at 4. But after 6, White's framework and thickness at the top is even better than the previous diagram.

A different game.
Black can also jump to 1 on the right, but this is a different game. White would probably attack at 2 for a complex fighting game.
