An amazing move!
Black 1 is the only move that works.
Black 1 sets up a double threat against both the 3 stone group
to the left and the 8 stone group.
If White defends on the right with 2,
then Black has a series of forcing moves on the left.
Through 7, Black captures 4 White stones.
If White connects to save the 4 stones, then Black
catches all the White stones in a shortage of liberties.
White variation.
White has no time to defend on the left with 2.
Black 5 captures the 8 White stones in a snapback.
A mistake.
Black 1 is the right move at the wrong time.
White defends with 2, but Black 3 no longer works, because
White can dodge to 4. Now all of White's stones are safe.
