Material and Financial SupportGrantsThe American Go Foundation provides supports school-based and after-school teaching programs for children. The AGF chooses a Teacher of the Year to attend the Congress each year, and any teacher can receive a Starter Kit with a few basic supplies. The most common grants are matching grants, in which the local group supplies half of the costs in question. The AGF is a tax-deductible 501c3 charitable organization devoted to promoting go in this country. Your fully tax-deductible donation supports many go-related activities: scholarships for children to attend the Summer Go Camp, equipment for teachers in schools around the country, and much more. Established by Roger White more twenty years ago, the AGF is doing more and more to support go organizers and players throughout the US. For more information click here to visit the AGF web site, or write to agf@usgo.org: EquipmentFrom time to time, the AGA acquires donations of equipment from the Ing Foundation and other sources.
