The 1995 North American Masters
The first North American Masters Tournament was held in 1995. It was an historic event, as it was the first professional tournament held in North America as well as the first professional tournament conducted, in part, on the Internet.

Title Match
The title match was played in Seattle, WA, at the 1995 Go Congress between the top two finishers in the the Challenger Round: Zhujiu Jiang and Jimmy Cha. In a best of three match, Zhujiu Jiang emerged victorious with a 2-1 record, making him the first North American Masters champion.
