The AGA is pleased to present the first season of a national competition for U.S. youth, sponsored by The Ing Chang-ki Wei-chi Education Foundation. Our goal for this program is to create more and better opportunities for American resident youth to compete at higher levels, make new friends with their Go-playing peers and others, recognize that there is a long-term view of playing Go in the U.S. and ultimately, select the United States representatives in international competition. Finalists selected at a series of regional tournaments will meet in Seattle in May for the finals. The winners of the Senior and Junior Divisions will represent the US in the World Youth Goe Championship next summer. The American Go Foundation will also provide each finalist with a $400 scholarship to either of this year's AGA Summer Go Camps. Or finalists can choose a $400 scholarship from Feng Yun 9P to The 2nd Feng Yun Youth Summer Go Camp in China 2007 in Huangzhou, China Click here for the official touranment rules, eligibility and other information.
