The 14th Fujitsu Qualifier

Professor Thomas Hsiang ( left ) became the first amateur to win the Fujitsu Qualifier, putting up a score of 4 wins and no losses. Both professional competitors ( Janice Kim, and the favorite, top seed Jimmy Cha ) suffered defeats in the first 2 rounds, and the deciding match was between 2 amateurs, Mr. Hsiang and Jung Moon Lee.
