Simul Games -- 5 pm Pacific Time, Daniel Daehyuk Ko, AGA 8d, chunga on KGS

These simuls are for AGA members current through 12/31/2014 and are held in the AGA Community Room on KGS (under “Clubs”) in the Rooms List. If you need room access, email bobgilman.aga@gmail.com with your AGA ID number and KGS username.

These simuls are a great way to test your strength and develop your game. You will have the chance to learn tactics and strategies from a stronger player. There will generally be a brief review afterwards. And don’t worry about being “too weak.” These are handicap games and intended to help you learn.

Massachusettw Go Association Fall Tournament

This tournament was, earlier this year, scheduled to be held on a different date. The Chess Club where we hold the event asked us to change it to October 19th, so we did. In fact the date on the massgo website is (as of Sept. 14) the old date. But a request has gone in to the webmaster to change it asap. If anyone shows up on the original date they will find a chess tournament, not a go tournament!
