CIRU Regional Go Tournament

The Confucius Institute of Rutgers University (CIRU), together with the Feng Yun Go School, is pleased to host a weiqi (a.k.a. go) tournament on Saturday, April 1 at the College Avenue Student Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey. One-day tournament with four rounds of AGA-rated play with no elimination. Cash prizes for top players in each of four divisions. Open division for the strongest players if possible. Salt City Go Tournament

Come play in our 10th Annual Salt City Go Tournament!

This is a 4-round AGA-rated paired tournament. The top three finishers in our A Division will receive cash prizes, and every participant will get to select a nice prize at the end of the day (new go books from Slate and Shell and other go-related prizes).

Location: Manlius Pebble Hill School, 5300 Jamesville Rd.
Registration: 8:15 to 9:15 AM, with first round beginning at 9:30 AM.
Registration fee: $15, or $10 for students high school age or younger.
Current AGA membership or one-day tourney pass is required (either can be purchased at tournament).

Free refreshments provided. Order-in lunch available.

Massachusetts Go Association Spring Handicap Tournament

Registration starts at 9:45 a.m. at the Boylston Chess Club 40 Norris Street, Cambridge, MA 02140.
Play begins at 10:30. There will be 4 rounds with lunch break. $100 in cash prizes will be distributed by 6:30 p.m. The MGA entrance fee is $15 with pre-registration. Pre-registration is a simple matter of emailing the TD, at eva@theworld.com, your name, AGA ID (if you don't have one, you can join the AGA at the registration desk), and strength. If you don't pre-register the entrance fee is $20. Even if you pre-register you need to show up well before 10:30 to pay.

2017 Orlando Go Tournament

The 11th annual Orlando Go Tournament will be held on Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23 this year in the Partnership III building in UCF's Research Park. It will be a five round, AGA-rated tournament with four strength divisions. We typically draw between 30 and 40 participants from all over Florida, and strength levels typically range from beginners to 7d. There is no entry fee, but you must have a valid and up to date AGA registration or a tournament pass to play.
