After the opening in this final game of the Asian TV Cup, Na Hyun 8p takes a lead over Lee Sedol 9p. Lee spends the rest of the game throwing everything but the kitchen sink at Na, trying to turn the game around.

Lee Sedol 9p is a top title holder in Korea and has often been ranked number one in the world in recent years. Lee is the only human to beat AlphaGo. Na Hyun 8p is a rising young pro in Korea. The Asian TV Cup is a fast play tournament (30 seconds per move with the possibility of using a full minute, ten times) between the winners and runners up of the TV Cups in Korea, China, and Japan. Lee has won this international event four times and was hoping for a record setting fifth win.
