2010 North American Fujitsu Cup

Rules

The 2010 North American Fujitsu Cup is being held on the KGS go server on November 28-29, 2009. The event consists of sixteen players invited from Canada and the United States and is run as a four-round elimination event. Unseeded players are placed in the tournament grid by their current AGA rating. Game conditions:

1 hour per player basic time
5 period of 30 seconds Japanese byo-yomi
Japanese rules
6.5 points komi

In the event of a game finishing without result, for example due to triple ko, the game will be replayed. Player's clocks will be reset so that they split the remaining time in the round evenly, with 25 stones/7 minutes Canadian overtime. If there is less than one hour remaining in the round, players will player a 30 minute sudden death match without overtime.
