Round 3: Leaders Begin to Emerge
Monday morning’s Round 3 of the 2025 World Amateur Go Championship saw key victories for the tournament’s top seeds, with many of the highest-ranked players successfully navigating mid-tier challengers to remain in strong contention. Click here for round results.

Round 4: Korea, Japan and China Remain Undefeated as Field Narrows
Monday afternoon’s fourth round of the 2025 World Amateur Go Championship delivered another round of sharp play and shifting momentum, as three top seeds—Sawoo KIM of Korea, Minoru Ozeki of Japan and Tianfang Ma of China remained unbeaten at 4–0. Hot on their heels are a raft of 3-1 players, including the US’ Alan Huang, Canada’s Brady Bei Ming Zhang and France’s Benjamin Dréan-Guénaïzia. Click here for round results.
