In addition to major rated tournaments like the US Open and Masters, the annual US Go Congress
features a numbers of unrated competitions, including 9x9 and 13x13 tournaments.
In the 9x9, the dan winner was Alex Parrott, while Yi Zhou was runner up. Kai Zhou was the kyu winner, and runner up was Kuanfu Tung.
In this year’s edition of the 13x13, Kevin Yang 6d took first place in the Dan division, while Austin Robinson 1k was first in the kyu division and Ian Johnson 16k took second. Table winners: were Kevin Yang 6d, Alex Fancui 3d, Jake Kim 3d, Austin Robinson 1k, Joe Zhang 4k, Justin Mi 5k, Luca Bove 8k, Ian Johnson 16k, and Aiden 26k.
