WASHINGTON, DC — Two days and four rounds into the NAGF Pro Qualification Tournament, the semifinal picture is sharpening: Division 1’s Guanyu Song 7d stands unbeaten at 3–0 and has clinched a top-two finish, while Division 2’s Qiyou Wu 7d remains perfect at 4–0, with a trio of contenders still in the hunt behind him.

Division 1 (top two advance):

Guanyu Song 7d — 3–0 (clinched top-two)

• Michael Xu 6d — 2–1

• Evan Tan 6d — 2–2

• Edward Zhang 5d — 1–2

• Jeremiah Donley 5d — 0–3

Song is in; the second semifinal berth comes down to Xu (2–1) and possibly Tan (2–2).

Division 2 (top two advance):

Qiyou Wu 7d — 4–0

• Yuan Zhou 6d — 3–1

• Eric Yoder 6d — 3–1

• Daniel Zhou 7d — 2–2

Wanqi Zhu 5d — 0–4

• Henry Zhang 4d — 0–4

With one divisional round to play, Wu controls the pole, while Yuan Zhou and Yoder are in strong position at 3–1; Daniel Zhou (2–2) must win and get help. Tiebreakers could decide second place.
Top two from each division advance to the semifinals following the round-robin stage.
