Richard Duan 4d continued his strong run at NGC events (Richard Duan 4d Sweeps 2025 Pumpkin Classic 10/31), finishing 3–1 to take first place in a 24-player field at the Winter Warmer. His only loss came in a hard-fought six-stone handicap game against Patrick Sun 3k.
Duan was one of the winners of a Go Magic subscription, with additional subscriptions awarded to Caroline Li 7k (MD) and three brothers from State College, Pennsylvania: Jayden Li 21k, Fangjun Li 10k, and Jason Li 25k.
