The AGA E-Journal has a new way to read, search, and explore AGA news.
The new E-Journal viewer brings together current articles, archived stories, and Daily Go News Digest items in a single searchable archive. Readers can still access the latest news from the AGA home page, but "Read More" links now open articles in the new viewer, where stories are easier to browse, search, and share.
The viewer displays article titles and summaries in a single list. Clicking any headline opens the full article immediately below, making it easy to browse multiple stories without leaving the page.
A powerful new search feature lets readers search article titles, summaries, and full text. Multiple search terms narrow results to stories containing all of the specified keywords, while month and year filters make it easy to locate articles from a particular period.
Each article also has its own permanent link, so the same story can be opened directly from the AGA home page, E-Journal emails, search results, or other AGA resources.
Daily Go News from around the world
The E-Journal also now features a Daily Go News Digest, which collects recent news from Go, weiqi, and baduk organizations around the world. The digest provides brief English-language summaries with links to the original articles, helping readers discover international Go news while directing traffic back to the organizations that published it.
Current sources include:
- Association of Indian Go Players
- Australian Go Association
- British Go Association
- Chinese Weiqi Association
- Deutscher Go-Bund
- European Go Federation
- Federación Iberoamericana de Go
- Hanguk Kiwon
- International Go Federation
- Kansai Ki-in
- Korea Baduk Federation
- North American Go Federation
- Nihon Ki-in
- Pandanet European Team Go Championship
- Singapore Weiqi Association
- Taiwan Chi Yuan
- Thailand Go Association
Additional sources will be added over time. Readers are encouraged to suggest reliable Go, weiqi, and baduk news sites that would be valuable additions to the digest. Email us at journal@usgo.org
The new viewer and Daily Go News Digest are part of an ongoing effort to make the EJ’s Go news – already the most widely-read English language source in the world -- easier to find, easier to share, and better connected to the worldwide Go community.
