Learn Go in an Hour—and Help Someone Else Get Started
Curious about Go? Know someone who would enjoy learning? The American Go Association’s free online Beginners Go Workshop offers a welcoming introduction to this fascinating strategy game—and an easy way to invite a friend to try it.
Led by Milan Mladenovic, the one-hour workshop combines instruction with hands-on play. During the first half, you’ll learn the basic rules and get comfortable using the Online Go Server (OGS). In the second half, you’ll put those ideas into practice by playing with Milan’s guidance.
The workshop meets online through Zoom and OGS. No previous Go experience is needed. Participants will need a free OGS account; registration emails explain how to prepare.
