AGHS Young Lions Registration is Open

Tournament Information

Leaves are falling, and so are the line-up of tournaments from the American Go Honor Society (AGHS) this season. Be ready, Go warriors, as our annual Young Lions Tournament is rapidly approaching! 


This year, the tournament will fall on two separate dates, October 18th and October 25th. Two rounds will be held each day, with a total of four rounds.


All players under the age of 18 and currently residing in North America are eligible to participate. The games will be held on KGS, with two rounds on each respective Sunday.


Schedule: 

First round: 12 PM EST (9 AM PST) on Sunday, October 18th

Second round: 3 PM EST (12 PM PST) on Sunday, October 18th

Third round: 12 PM EST (9 AM PST) on Sunday, October 25th

Fourth round: 3 PM EST (12 AM PST) on Sunday, October 25th


Our tournament this year will follow AGA rules. Time settings will be 30 minutes of main time followed by three periods of 30-second byo-yomi.
