About this event
The Go Club at OSU, in collaboration with the Corvallis Go Club, is hosting a tournament. It will be an AGA rated, three round, one day tournament. The time control will be 40 minute main time, 5x 30 second Byo-Yomi. Every player will need to have an active AGA membership by the day of the tournament on March 7th. There will be an entry fee of $20 for players with adult AGA memberships and $10 for youth memberships. No one will be turned away for lack of funds. Snacks and pizza will be provided as a lunch option. However, the location is on Monroe Street so it is within walking distance from several restaurants.
There will be 3 brackets; two handicap brackets which will be created on the day of the tournament, and an open bracket. Tie-breaks for each bracket will be decided first by rank, and then by head to head results. There will be a cash prize for every bracket. The tournament will use standard AGA rules.
