Event Overview (Sat. May 23rd)
This Auxillary 13x13 Beginners tournament is hosted by the San Diego Go Club. This 5-round tournament is intended for beginners 30 kyu to 20 kyu, and is FREE ENTRY*, so they can get the experience of playing in a tournament go with no time limits. Both Youth and Adults can participate in this event. The Beginner Section is Limited to 10 seats this year! (More experienced players may register in either the Open Section, or Handicap Section.)

All registered players have access to a complimentary breakfast in the morning & a catered Rubio's lunch will be provided! Players will be able to make their own two taco plate (Chicken, Steak, or Shrimp) and is served along with rice, beans, chips, salsas, guacamole, cheese, lettuce, and soda! Opportunites for seconds will also be available once everyone has been fed!

Each Registered Beginner Youth Attendee (age 22 and under) includes one FREE Spectator Meal Ticket as an appreciation for Parents/Legal Guardians/Loved ones' efforts in supporting players to attend Go tournaments! Additonal Spectators can purchase a Meal Ticket for $15 each day (or $30 for both days).

We will also have a variety of board games for players & families to enjoyand relax in between rounds! The top board in the Open Section, which consists of the best players at the tournament, will also be livestreamed with entertaining & helpful commentary for players & families to watch in between rounds as well. All top board games will be livestreamed on the BadukClub's Twitch Channel.
