This page describes how to download and use the Yapp app to access Congress schedule and other
information on your mobile device.
The URL for the Congress Yapp app is https://my.yapp.us/GOCONGRESS25
DOWNLOADING YAPP
Click HERE for instructions on how to download the Congress Yapp app. If you get a message saying
“That yapp could not be found”, and you correctly entered the URL, that means that the Yapp app is still
under development and has not yet “gone live”. Please try again closer to the Congress start date.
USING YAPP
To access the app, tap on the US Go Congress image. After a few seconds, this will take you to the
“Welcome” screen shown below. A menu of different “pages” can be seen at the bottom of the screen.
Tapping on a page icon will take you to the page.
- The “Overview” page provides a big-picture summary of schedules for tournaments, Pro activities, and youth activities.
- The “Sessions” page provides detailed schedule information on all events.
- The “Campus” page provides links to maps of the Southwestern University campus.
- The “MORE” icon brings up a menu of additional pages, including the “Pros” page which provides information on the sponsored Pros and their associated events.
MY SCHEDULE
The Yapp app has a "My Schedule" tool that allows a user to collect and view a set of events of interest to them. It's easy to use. If any changes are subsequently made to an item on your list (e.g., time, date, location, etc.), the changes will be reflected in your "My Schedule".
- To add an item to your "My Schedule":
Navigate on Yapp to a "Sessions" event of interest, and tap on the "ADD TO MY SCHEDULE" button near the bottom of the screen. Repeat to add other items.
- To view your "My Schedule":
Any time you are on (or in) the "Sessions" page, you can view the items in your "My Schedule" by tapping on the calendar-like icon in the upper-right of the screen.
- To remove an item from your "My Schedule:
While viewing your "My Schedule", tap on the event that you want to remove, and then tap on the "REMOVE FROM MY SCHEDULE" button near the bottom of the screen.
