The US Go Congress is

an annual event that brings together Go players from all over the United States and around the world. It is a week-long gathering that features tournaments, lectures, workshops, and social events for players of all levels.
  

If you are attending the US Go Congress, you can expect to meet a lot of other Go players who are passionate about the game. You will have the opportunity to participate in tournaments, which are organized by strength and age group, so players of all levels can compete.

Aside from the tournaments, you can also attend lectures and workshops conducted by experienced Go players and teachers. These sessions cover a wide range of topics, from basic Go strategy to advanced techniques and theory.
  

There are also social events, such as game nights, dinners, and parties, where you can get to know other players and relax after a long day of playing Go.

One of the highlights of the US Go Congress is the annual U.S. Open, which is the largest and most prestigious Go tournament in North America. The tournament is open to players of all levels and attracts top players from around the world.
  

Overall, attending the US Go Congress is an excellent opportunity to improve your Go skills, meet other players, and immerse yourself in the Go community. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced player, there is something for everyone at the US Go Congress.
