The AGA has been invited to send a team of youth players to the 10th Kuksu Mountains International Youth Baduk Festival in South Jeolla Province, South Korea between August 2-6. Partipants must cover their airfare to and from the venue, but all expenses on-site (local transportation, lodging, meals, and sightseeing fees) will be covered by the organizers. There is a $250 fee for accompanying guardians, but all on-site expenses will also be covered by the organizers. Players will participate in the Gangjin Team Tournament as well as attend additional events such as teaching games with pros and autograph sessions. This is a great opportunity for youth to connect with other Go players around the world as well as go sightseeing around the scenic Jeollanamdo area.
