Players from across the Lone Star State turned out August 19 for the 2023 College Station Go
Tournament, held in College Station, Texas. The tournament consisted of a one-day, 4-round competition with both Open (dan) and Handicap (kyu) sections. “We had a great variety of players participating, with AGA ratings from 16 kyu to 7 dan,” reports Chris Edwards.
Winners of the tournament include: Juanshu Lan (6D), Kevin Xu (4D), and Bowei Xu (7D) of the Open Section; Chih-Yan Huang (3K), Alec Liang (2K), and Vincent Tam (3K) of the Handicap Section; and special mention Levi Jennings (10K) as the top DDK player.
