Chris Garlock | Published on 11/9/2023

Michael Redmond 9P will review his game against 18-year-old Hino Shota in a livestream on Friday, November 10 at 7p ET.

Hino, who started playing as a pro in September 2021, notched a 13-3 win-loss record in 2022, and was 20-5 at the time of this Oza B Section game, played on August 3 of this year.

“His teacher was Takabayashi Takuji 7P, a successful teacher who passed away in 2019,” says Redmond. “Takabayashi's most famous student is Kyo Kagen (Hsu Chia Yuan) 9P who had the Judan title for two years and is still in the top group in Japan.”

American Go E-Journal Managing Editor Chris Garlock will host, and Eva Dee Beech will direct the show. You can tune in right from the 'Live Streams and Recorded Events' section of the AGA's home page at 7p ET. This will open the event happening on the AGA’s YouTube channel
