The 40th U.S. Go Congress has been confirmed for July 13-21, 2024 in Portland, Oregon.
The Congress will be held at Portland State University, the same venue as last Portland Congress in 2008. “Exciting non-Go outings will include the Portland Japanese Garden, Lan Su Chinese Garden, 4-T's hike and transit loop for great views of the city and trolley rides through the heart of the city and popular shopping districts,” says local organizer Stewart Towle. “Plus, it's easy to take public transit from the airport to the venue and accommodations.”
Links for group discounts to various hotels and dorm rooms all within easy walk of the venue will be posted on the 2024 U.S. Go Congress website when registration opens; meanwhile those interested can pre-register on the site to get on the email list to receive updates.
