'GO'VID 19x19 - On-Line Tournament
On-line to AGA members. Since this tournament will be held on-line, games will NOT be AGA rate.
Five round tournament held in the Austin Go Club room on KGS. Three rounds on saturday, two rounds on Sunday.

Third Annual California Go Championship
The 2020 California Go Championship will be held the Saturday and Sunday after Thanksgiving (November 28 & 29, 2020). It will be a 5-round tournament with Open and Handicap sections. California Go Champions will be crowned in the Open and Kyu sections as well as U16 Boy and U16 Girl. All players are welcome to play, but one must be a California resident or student to win a title.

Registration opens on on November 1, 2020. The decision will have been made by then to have this a face-to-face competition (at the San Diego Chess Club) or and online (KGS) event.

AGA membership is required in both cases.

Entry fee will be $20 for adults and $10 for youth if this is a live tournament.
There will be at least $1,000 in prize money if the tournament is face-to-face.
Entry fee is free in the case of an online event.
Online there will be no cash prizes but champions will be crowned and the Open winner will have his or her name engraved on the permanent plaque along with Calvin Sun 1P and Evan Lin 7-dan.
