This annual street festival in downtown DC is the largest celebration of Japanese culture in the U.S. Volunteers from the NGC staff a booth every year introducing hundreds of festival goers to Go.
Come to Berkeley and play outdoors in our 1-day 3-round AGA rated tournament. All games will played with appropriate handicap stones. The vibes will be casual, fun, and there will be snacks! This is the first tournament jointly hosted by the Telegraph Go Club & North Oakland Go Club.

It‘s that time of year again. Stony Brook Go Club presents the 2024 Sakura Matsuri tournament!
The tournament will be taking place in the Charles B. Wang Center (Room TBA!) in Stony Brook University on Sunday, April 21st from 10:30AM to 6:00PM. Check-in starts at 9:30AM.
And as always, no entrance fee! The tournament will be an AGA-rated tournament, with 4 rounds, split into 3 division, from the dan level to the low kyu level.
There will be a variety of prizes for winners in each division. Food will be served: Breakfast at 10AM and Lunch at 1:30PM.
During the tournament, there will be a Japanese Cultural Sakura Matsuri Festival, so this is a perfect opportunity for a family outing while you play Go!
