Players are required to be AGA members to participate.

If you do not have an AGA rating already that is OK, this event can help you establish one.

Complete Rules and Schedule will be sent via email. Players should expect to play 5 main rounds across 2 days and have the opportunity to participate in reviews or side games.

Registration fee is $40 for adults, $30 for youth, and $20 for DDK players. All fees go directly to a prize pool for the division you play in. (You may request an exemption from the fee.)

We are again pleased to announce that a $1000 donation, compliments of Mr. David Cho 5-Dan, will go the first place competitor in the open competition. Dan and Kyu players from all over are invited to come and compete.

The 2026 Midwest Open, organized by the UChicago Go Club, will be held over theJanuary 31-Febtruary 1 weekend.

Fischer time control: 30 minutes + 10 seconds/move
All games are AGA-rated
Even games (no handicap) in all divisions

It‘s time once again for the SF Go Club‘s annual tournament. Hosted by Jiang Jujo with Rui Nai Wei and special guest Jimmy Cha. This will be a 4-round AGA-rated Go tournament. 25 minutes main time plus 15 second Fischer increments. $3000 prize pool available!
